My days in Boston
DAY1
I remembered getting there at around 1 or 2.
As I’d stayed in the US for 3 months before going on travel, so first things first, CHINESE FOOD! I went to ChinaTown and got my favorite food-NOODLES and… of course bubble tea. I hadn’t had them for so long!
Went to Boston Common Park.
It was huge, tranquil, and definitely beautiful. Spent hours there walking around and taking photos. Being one of the biggest parks located in the center of Boston, it is absolutely worth paying a visit.
Honestly I didn’t have much plan for my travel in general, so I kept walking to explore the city. And then unexpectedly got to one of the touristy sites! Quincy market
Quincy market is like a food street that has all the typical food of Boston. If you are someone like me who loves eating and wants to try the local food. This is somewhere you shouldn’t miss. I got a lobster roll and a mushroom soup at Boston Chowda Company. It was amazing with a hot dog bun filled with lobster and salad dressing!
It took me 30 minutes walking back to the hostel and I got a “siu mei rice”, one of the typical foods in Hong Kong, at Hong Kong Eatery, to wrap up my day 1.
DAY2
Went to one of the famous museums in Boston, the Museum of Fine Arts. It was pretty far away from the city center, so I took a metro to get there, which was so expensive for one ride. The museum required a reserved ticket because of covid, so I had my ticket booked the day before. It contains loads of paintings and works of art and thus is one of the most comprehensive collections in the US.
Then, I paid a visit to the Boston public library, another famous place to go. There was a huge study room with lots of students studying. It reminded me of being a student!
Went back to Quincy market again to get a lobster roll! I was obsessed with this food!
Middle Eastern food for dinner!
A beer to wrap up my second day too!
DAY3
Starting my day with a healthy bagel and a coffee.
Harvard University
Harvard Stadium
A beer in the evening!
egg tart, one of the typical foods in Hong Kong.
Singapore stir-fried noodles, bubble tea and dinner!
